Halloween Safety Tips!

  1. Wear light-colorede clothing that's short enough to prevent tripping. Add reflective tape to sides, front and back of costume.
  2. Make sure there is clear visability through the child's mask.
  3. Adults should accompany young children at all times.
  4. Carry a flashlight and start during daylight.
  5. Stay within Warson Woods and only visit homes you know.
  6. Watch for traffic at all times!
  7. Only give and accept wrapped packaged candy.
  8. Examine all candy before allowing children to eat it.
  9. Keep costumed children away from pets. The pet may react to the costume in an adverse manner.
  10. Avoid hard plastic or wooden props such as daggers or swords. Substitute with foam or soft materials.

Warner's Winter Warm-UP VIII

Eight Years after its inception and over 75,000 coats later, the Warners' Warm -up Coat Drive has become a dependable resource for impoverished men, women and children in the Bi-State. The Kurt Warner First Things First Foundation and Operation Food search are once again teaming up with the Metropolitan Police Departments in Missouri and Illinois for the eighth annual Warnersâ Warm-Up Winter Coat Drive. From October 27th ö November 9th, Warson Woods residents and Businesses are encouraged to donate new and gently ö used winter coats at the Warson Woods City Hall located at 10015 Manchester Rd. to help keep our neighbors warm during the cold winter months.
