Bag With Recycling Symbol

The City of Warson Woods invites all St. Louis County residents to take part in The Woods Goes Green, a special recycling event on Friday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Ste. Genevieve du Bois School, 1575 N. Woodlawn Ave.

This event is free and open to all St. Louis County residents (Photo ID required). It’s a perfect opportunity to responsibly recycle electronics and documents while helping protect our environment.

What You Can Bring

  • Paper & Documents: On-site secure document shredding

  • Electronics: Most electronics are accepted for free (computers, laptops, cell phones, small household appliances, cables, etc.)

Electronics Fee List

(Fees apply only to the items below, after 2 free)

  • Power Tool Batteries – $2

  • Printers / Copiers – $5

  • LCD / LED Monitors – $5

  • Dehumidifiers / Mini Fridges / A/C Units / Microwaves – $10

  • Flat Panel TVs (up to 32”) – $10

  • Flat Panel TVs (32”+) – $20

  • CRT Monitors – $30

  • CRT TVs (up to 27”) – $50

  • CRT TVs (27”+) – $60

  • Rear Projection TVs – $60

Not Accepted

  • Smoke Detectors (USPS recommended)

  • Household Batteries (Batteries Plus recommended)

  • Light Bulbs (Batteries Plus recommended)

  • Ballasts containing PCB

  • Gas-powered equipment

  • Refrigerant-containing material

  • Large appliances
