Save the Date Announcement for The Woods Goes Green

Warson Woods Goes Green!

Warson Woods is excited to host its first-ever community recycling event, The Woods Goes Green, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Ste. Genevieve du Bois School. This event is free and open to all St. Louis County residents, and offers a simple, sustainable way to recycle unwanted electronics and securely shred documents.

Most electronics will be accepted at no cost, while a small fee applies to certain items such as televisions, monitors, and select appliances like dehumidifiers, mini-fridges, and microwaves. A full list of restricted or fee-based items is available on the City’s website and at the event. On-site shredding will also be available, providing residents a secure and responsible way to dispose of sensitive documents.

City officials encourage residents to take part in this eco-friendly initiative and help spread the word throughout the community. Volunteers and staff will be on site to help unload vehicles and ensure smooth traffic flow. Together, we can make a positive environmental impact and keep Warson Woods beautiful and green!
